Ten teams from Europe, Latin America, Asia Pacific, Canada and the United States kicked off the at Kirkland's Sunday, starting a week of play that culminates Saturday with the championship game. Teams came from the Netherlands, Curacao, the Philippines, British Columbia, Alaska, Texas, Florida, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Bellevue/Mercer Island. Saturday's championship game will be nationally televised by ESPN. Kirkland Patch was on hand to watch the opening ceremonies and take pictures -- enjoy the photo gallery!
