Visitors paid their respects over Independence Day weekend to those who died during the Vietnam War at Sunset Hills Memorial Park, which brought a replica of the iconic Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall to Bellevue for the holiday weekend. The replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C., was to be at Sunset Hills Memorial Park in Bellevue through 5 p.m., July 4. Sunset Hills is located at 1215 145th Place SE, Bellevue. Volunteers organized by the Lake Washington VFW Post 2995 helped visitors find specific names on the wall. The VFW also organized several commemoration ceremonies over the weekend.
