Volunteers, Musicians Needed for Main Street Fundraiser for Child Advocacy Group

Children’s Response Center is looking for over 20 volunteers to work shifts during the Taste of Main event. If interested, please contact Sally Martinez at sallym2@u.washington.edu or at (206) 910-3277. Shifts are from 12-2:30 or 2:30- 5:00.

We are also looking for musicians to volunteer their time to play acoustic music.  

What: Taste of Main Fundraiser

When: Saturday, August 20^th

Time: 12-5pm

Location: On  Main Street, Bellevue, between 100^th and Bellevue Way

Cost: $40 adults (children free with parents, donation suggested). Purchase passports day of the event.

Bellevue's Main Street is a precious gem ‐ a thriving commercial stretch of shops and restaurants with undeniable charm. It is a regular haunt for Eastsiders in search of both fine and casual food, not to mention sophisticated shopping. That's why Children's Response Center feels so privileged the businesses on Main Street are choosing to once again honor us with the 3rd Annual Taste of Main.

On Saturday, August 20th from 12am-5pm, Bellevue's charming Main Street will be transformed and energized with acoustic music, silent auctions, and special children’s' activities. For adults, the fun is enhanced with a $40 dining passports that allow you to sample delectable food, wine and desserts from over ten restaurants, bakeries and chocolate shops situated on Main Street. Stores will join the fun too, with special sales.

CRC serves children who have survived abuse, crime, and other traumatic events. The proceeds from the event directly support counseling, advocacy, and prevention services in East and North King County.
