• Burien Police arrest driver after attempted traffic stop leads to crash and drug discovery early Wednesday (b-townblog.com) — A Burien Police deputy arrested a driver early Wednesday after a failed traffic stop near SW 122nd Street and 1st Ave South ended in a crash and foot chase. Deputies say they later found fentanyl and booked the driver on felony eluding, resisting arrest, and drug possession, with the case now headed to the King County Prosecutor’s Office. 
• Normandy Park City Council addresses parks funding and public works projects (normandyparkblog.com) — Normandy Park’s City Council recently advanced several infrastructure and parks measures that also tie into regional work with Burien and SeaTac on Miller and Walker creeks stewardship in 2026.
