Edmonds School Calendar 2018-19: First Day Of School, Vacations

EDMONDS, WA — The first day of school in Edmonds is September 5 — and whether you and the kids are looking forward to the new school year or are dreading the end of summer, you’ll want to mark the date on your calendar ASAP. The Edmonds School District has released its 2018-2019 calendar for public schools.

The calendar includes important dates, such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

Here is the full list of dates to know for this school year:

September

• 9/3: No School (Labor Day)
• 9/5: First Day of School (Grades 1-12)
• 9/10: First Day for Kindergarten

October

• 10/8: No School (Columbus Day)

November

• 11/21 - 11/23: No School (Thanksgiving Recess)

December

• 12/24 - 12/31: No School (Winter Break)

January

• 1/1 - 1/4: No School (Winter Break)
• 1/21: No School (Martin Luther King Jr. Day)

February

• 2/18 - 2/19: No School (Presidents' Day Break)

March

April

• 4/1 - 4/5: No School (Spring Break)
• 4/19: No School (Good Friday)

May

• 5/27: No School (Memorial Day)

• 6/20: Last Day of School
