Lynnwood Park Shooting Leaves 2 Teens Dead, Police Say

LYNNWOOD, WA — Two teens ages 15 and 16 were killed in a shooting at a park in Lynnwood.

Police were called around 9:15 p.m. Thursday for a report that someone was shooting from a vehicle at Spruce Park, Lynnwood police said.

Officers found two boys with life-threatening gunshot wounds. They both died at hospitals.

Investigators were questioning people who were at the park during the shooting. An investigation remains ongoing. The teens' names weren't immediately released.

The Snohomish County Medical Examiner's Office will determine their causes of death.
