A longtime local advocate, he’ll share stories from his new memoir and reflect on how early travels shaped his life, tying his global outlook back to Edmonds’ own lifelong-learning community.

New body cam shows rescue of man in water after car goes off Edmonds ferry dock; 2 killed (kiro7.com) — Newly released body camera footage reveals dramatic rescue efforts after a speeding Mini Cooper drove off the Edmonds ferry dock last June, killing two people and injuring three others. The video shows Snohomish County deputies pulling screaming victims from the water and highlights unanswered questions about a second police pursuit through Edmonds that preceded the crash.
