A longtime local advocate, he’ll share stories from his new memoir and reflect on how early travels shaped his life, tying his global outlook back to Edmonds’ own lifelong-learning community.

Edmonds Floretum Garden Club extends application deadline to Jan. 30 for school grants (myedmondsnews.com) — Teachers in Edmonds-area schools still have time to apply for Floretum Garden Club grants supporting school gardens and other hands-on horticulture projects, with applications now due Jan. 30. The video shows Snohomish County deputies pulling screaming victims from the water and highlights unanswered questions about a second police pursuit through Edmonds that preceded the crash.
