Snohomish County Sheriff's Office: Major Crimes Unit Detectives Investigate Monday Night Homicide In Arlington
The suspect, a 19-year-old Arlington man, was taken into custody without incident.

ARLINGTON, Wash. – Around 9:20 p.m. Monday, deputies and Major Crimes Unit (MCU) detectives responded to a homicide in the 26700 block of Lake Riley Road. Upon arrival, deputies located the victim, a 63-year-old Arlington man, with a gunshot wound to his torso. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The suspect, a 19-year-old Arlington man, was taken into custody without incident.

During the investigation, Major Crimes Unit (MCU) detectives learned there was an altercation that occurred inside the residence involving the suspect and the victim who reside there together. During the altercation, the 19-year-old suspect shot the 63-year-old victim.
