• Enumclaw officially supports Wilkeson after bridge closure (courierherald.com) — Enumclaw’s City Council has unanimously backed Wilkeson as the Carbon River/Fairfax bridge closure continues to choke off access to Mount Rainier’s Mowich Lake and devastate local businesses. The resolution urges state and federal funding for a new bridge and direct aid to Wilkeson’s small businesses. Local leaders say growing state-level momentum and a new CERB grant could help rebuild the area’s long-term economic resilience.
