Opening on the Civil Service Commission

The City of Gig Harbor is issuing a call for Gig Harbor Residents to serve on the Civil Service Commission. The position is strictly voluntary, is not compensated, and serves a six-year term.

The Civil Service Commission governs the administration of the Civil Service System to assure compliance with RCW 41.08 and 41.12 and meets on an as-needed basis throughout the year.

Persons interested in service on the Civil Service Commission should submit a letter of interest and application form (see link below) to the Civil Service Secretary, City of Gig Harbor, 3510 Grandview Street, Gig Harbor, WA  98335 or by e-mail to: gillespiem@cityofgigharbor.net no later than 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 26th 2013.
