City Of Gig Harbor Needs Volunteers For Design Review Board

All applicants must be able to read and interpret site plans and elevation drawings. Applicants must fall into a least one of the following categories:

• Licensed Architect or Professional Building Designer. Preference given to applicants with demonstrated experience in urban or historic building design.
• Urban design. Preference given to applicants with a professional background relating to urban design.
• Landscape. Preference given to applicants with demonstrated knowledge of landscaping, horticulture, aboriculture or forestry.
• Historic Preservation. Preference given to applicants with a background in identifying, evaluating and protecting historic resources, selected from among the disciplines of architecture, history, architectural history, planning, prehistoric and historic archaeology, folklore, cultural anthropology, curation, conservation or landscape architecture, or related disciplines.

Persons interested in serving must submit a completed application to Joshua Stecker, Assistant City Clerk, 3510 Grandview Street, Gig Harbor, WA 98335 or steckerj@cityofgigharbort.net. Application may be obtained online or at the Civic Center, or by calling 853-7638. This a volunteer position not subject to compensation. Please submit applications by Tuesday, August 18, 2020.
