Welcome back, Gig Harbor! It's been a few days since I've been able to do a digest for you (sorry about that, we've been very busy here at Patch with election coverage-- and ordering election night pizza) but I'm back today with a few items of note.

The first is the latest election update. It's not too dissimilar from the election results you may have seen Wednesday morning, but I've continued to update the results as more ballots have rolled in.

Also in today's digest is an update from the Pierce County Council on their budget deliberations, a preview of a Q&A from the Tacoma-Pierce County Health Department about child COVID-19 vaccination, and more.
