Gig Harbor Farmers Market Opens Saturday

With spring in full swing, the annual Gig Harbor Farmers Market opens this Saturday, April 6.

Rain or shine, the market will be available every Saturday through Sept. 28 from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The farmers market, located in the Uptown Gig Harbor parking lot next to Galaxy Theatre, includes food, gardening, crafts and live music. Click here for a full list of vendors.

Every week, Billy Farmer and Friends will be offering open mic and free guitar, banjo, mandolin and ukulele lessons from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

Afterward, Billy Farmer will also be performing live from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Wednesday and Sunday market at Skansie Brothers Park will start in June.
