Happening Today, Saturday: Third Annual Lavender Festival

The Third Annual Lavender Festival will be held on Friday, July 12 and Saturday, July 13, from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. each day at Blue Willow Lavender Farm on the Key Peninsula near Gig Harbor.

Patch user William Ketts writes, "We are home to nearly 4,000 lavender plants in 15 fields, and they will all be at the peak of their bloom during our lavender festival. Hundreds of lavender plants in a multitude of varieties will be available for sale, and our Lavender Store will be filled with many marvelous lavender products."

"Lavender crafting (fee applies), demonstrations and classes will give our guests an opportunity to experience lavender at another level. Live music and the fragrance of lavender will fill the air. A variety of vendors will also be offering their products and food for purchase."
