Jersey Mike's Gives $2,000 To Gig Harbor FISH Food Bank, Chamber Says

Jersey Mike’s presented Gig Harbor FISH with a check for $2,000 on Thursday, Aug. 22.

Jersey Mike’s opened on July 10 of this year. Prior to their opening, Jersey Mike’s joined the Gig Harbor Chamber and asked for a list of charitable members that they could team up with.

Out of all of the deserving nonprofit organizations, Jersey Mike’s selected Gig Harbor FISH. Jersey Mike’s distributed coupons all over town promoting a free sub sandwich in exchange for a $1 donation with all of the proceeds benefiting FISH. This promotion generated approximately $1,600 in donations to FISH and Jeff Gates of Jersey Mike’s Gig Harbor generously contributed an additional $300 for a total contribution of $2,000!

Since their grand opening, Jersey Mike’s has had lines out the door. The staff at Jersey Mike’s is upbeat, fun, and creates an experience when buying a sub. The Gig Harbor Chamber of Commerce was present during the check presentation to Gig Harbor FISH.
