Key Peninsula Boat Launch Reopens After Ramp Rehabilitation
Pierce County crews replaced the existing ramp structure with concrete panels purchased from the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife.
The boat launch on A Street KPS in Home reopened on Wednesday following Pierce County’s rehabilitation of the ramp.
Crews replaced the existing ramp structure with concrete panels purchased from the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife. The county will repave the ramp approach Aug. 9. The ramp will be closed for several hours for this work.
Nearby county-operated launch sites include 72nd Street KPS near Long Branch, Hall Road in Vaughn, and Randall Drive NW near Gig Harbor.
