Key Peninsula Student Wins Puyallup Fair Art Show
Key Peninsula Middle School's Annabelle Murdoch won Best in Show for her work titled, "Darkest Angel"

The 25thΒ annual Junior/Senior High School Art Show at the Puyallup Fair had another successful year with artwork submitted by students from 40 local schools.Β
The Best in Show blue ribbon winners includedΒ Key Peninsula Middle School'sΒ Annabelle Murdoch. She submitted her work titled, "Darkest Angel".
The show received hundreds of entries in a multitude of mediums, including drawings, photography, paintings in acrylic, oil, and watercolor, as well as sculptures and unique mixed media pieces.

The Junior/Senior High School Art Show encourages young artists to expand their creativity and become confident in their art by displaying their work for audiences to enjoy.
This yearβs Fair visitors were invited to view the show and vote for their favorite piece through Sept. 23. This yearβs entries were awarded ribbons for Jurorsβ Choice, Jurorsβ Choice Photography, Peopleβs Choice of the Day, Over-All Peopleβs Choice, Most Patriotic, and Honorable Mention. There was also $2,000 worth of cash prizes and ribbons awarded for Best in Show.
