Photo of the Day: Risso's Dolphin Breaching near Fox Island
This majestic Risso's dolphin was spotted from a boat, between McNeil and Fox Island in the South Puget Sound. What a perfect way to start the sunny work week!
Patch reader Connie O'Neal sent us this photo of a Risso's dolphin spotted in the South Sound.
(We originally thought it was an Orca, so thanks to Connie and Dave for doing a little extra research to share with us!)

My scuba diver buddy, Dave Haug, who lives on Fox Island, was out on his boat this past Thursday, April 25, celebrating his anniversary with his wife Rhonda.
The whale was between Fox and McNeil islands.
