Pierce Transit Eliminates Three Trips From Route 100 in Gig Harbor
Due to transit operator attrition, Pierce Transit has cut several services, including those in Gig Harbor, in order to keep the buses moving throughout the system.

Pierce Transit introduced its bus service changes on Sunday, June 9.
Due to transit operator attrition, Pierce Transit has cut numerous servicesΒ in order to keep the buses moving throughout the system.
Three of the trips forΒ Route 100 in Gig HarborΒ have been eliminated. During the week,Β the 6:46 p.m. and the 7:46 p.m. trips from Purdy Park and Ride have been deleted.Β The Sunday 8:45 a.m. from TCC has also been cut.
"Pierce Transit continues its commitment to finding everyday efficiencies and seeking new revenues in order to preserve as much service for our customers as possible with the resources available,"Β according to the Pierce Transit website.
