Santa, Mrs. Claus Visit Key Peninsula via Fire Truck

Patch reader Devon Liles shares photos of Santa and Mrs. Claus as they make their way through Key Peninsula with the Key Peninsula Fire Department.

Patch reader and Key Peninsula resident Devon Liles sent these photos to Patch on Wednesday:

"The Key Peninsula firefighters brought a very special guest to our neighborhoods around the Key Peninsula during December. Santa has been visiting our neighborhoods with Mrs. Claus and his sleigh escorted by a Key Peninsula Fire Department fire truck.

I joined up with Mr. and Mrs. Claus on the 16thΒ during the Lake of the Woods Route and I asked them where Rudolf and the rest of the gangΒ was?Β Β

Mr. Claus gave a big belly laugh, β€œHO HO HO” and exclaimed that β€œThey were back home at the North Pole resting up for the big night, and I asked my good friends at the KPFD #16 to pull our sleigh so Mrs. Claus and I could get out and see our favorite little ones on the KP and make certain that we get all of their present requests before the big night."

With another deep laugh he exclaimed, β€œMerry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all” as they sped off in their gleaming Sleigh of Joy. Β Β
