Today in Gig Harbor: View Work From Local Artist Adria Hanson

See the work of local artist Adria Hanson today at 4 p.m., at the Gig Harbor Library.

Hanson, 37, is a local and professional artist who is also a full time mother to a 4-year-old and a 2-year-old. Hanson paints in a photographic manner with a painterly style. She will display pet portraits, people portraits as well as landscapes of the Key Peninsula, Washington, Wyoming, Colorado and places in Tuscany, Italy.

She completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts at the University of Oklahoma in 2002.  Her artistic studies have taken her to London, Paris, Rome and Florence, Italy.   Hanson has a private studio in Longbranch, Washington.
