• Shelton pedestrian hit by car on Highway 101 Friday afternoon, Washington State Patrol troopers say (chronline.com) — A Hoodsport man and a Shelton pedestrian were both injured Friday when a car struck the pedestrian as he tried to cross Highway 101 at the Shelton-Matlock Road on-ramp. The Hoodsport driver was taken to Mason General Hospital, while the pedestrian was airlifted to Harborview in Seattle. State Patrol says the Hoodsport driver was not impaired.
