2 Hospitalized In Gravelly Lake Drive Crash, Road Closed
A car collision on Gravelly Lake Drive Tuesday has the road closed between Main and 112th Streets.
LAKEWOOD, WA — A car crash in Lakewood has sent two people to the hospital and closed a major thoroughfare.
According to West Pierce Fire and Rescue, a two car collision happened along Gravelly Lake Drive sometime shortly before noon. The emergency response to that crash has closed Gravelly lake Drive between Main and 112th Streets.
Though first responders evaluated five people for injuries after the collision, only two needed to be taken to the hospital for further treatment. The cause of the crash is still unknown.

Also unknown is when the road may reopen. Firefighters say it will remain blocked for some time for investigation, and are asking the public to avoid the area for the foreseeable future.
