Clover Park School Board To Hold Public Hearing on Use of Initiative 728 Money

The public hearing begins 5:45 p.m., Monday at the Student Services Center, 10903 Gravelly Lake Dr. SW. I-728 provides money to schools to help students reach state learning standards.

The Clover Park School District Board of Directors will host a public hearing regarding the district’s use of Initiative 728 funds for the 2012-13 school year. The public hearing begins at 5:45 p.m., Monday, April 8 in Room 4 of the Student Services Center, 10903 Gravelly Lake Drive Southwest in Lakewood.

The initiative provides additional money to school districts to help students reach state learning standards. Immediately following the public hearing, the board will hold its regularly-scheduled meeting.

Written comments from those unable to attend the public hearing regarding I-728 may be sent to Kim Prentice, Clover Park School District, 10903 Gravelly Lake Drive Southwest, Lakewood, WA 98499.
