5th Annual Booking It Cross Country Run/Walk

The Annual Booking It Cross Country Run came about when Shay Glackin-Coley wanted to get a job to raise money for charity. Given the lack of good paying jobs for 10 year olds and his love of running he decided to organize a charity run instead. Last year, 75 runners participated and they were able to provide scholarships for 2 primary school and 6 secondary school students.

All the proceeds from "Booking It" will again go towards scholarships.  

Both races will be held at Fort Steilacoom Park in Lakewood, WA Day of race registration begins at 8:00. The 2K race starts at 8:30. The 5K race will start at 9:00. Walkers for both events will start immediately after runners. Awards and prize drawings will be presented at 9:45.
