Lakewood Nonprofit To Expand Homeless Services: Report
Living Access Support Alliance has announced plans to add a hygiene center and 50 new low-income housing units, among other changes.

LAKEWOOD, WA — Lakewood's sole homeless services provider is set to expand its operations, according to a new report from The News Tribune.
According to the Tribune's reporting, Living Access Support Alliance (LASA) announced late last month plans to expand its center on Gravelly Lake Drive to include a new hygiene center, a daycare, and up to 50 low-income housing units.
LASA currently offers several programs aimed at reducing homelessness, including permanent supportive housing to help families with a disabled head of household, a rapid re-housing program for those who need a short-term place to stay, and nine low income affordable housing units.
