Missing JBLM Soldier Found Alive And Well

The 7th Infantry Division's Aaron Haakenson was reported missing Wednesday, but has since been found.

LAKEWOOD, WA — Joint Base Lewis-McChord and the 7th Infantry Division are sounding the alarm over a missing solider who disappeared earlier this week.

UPDATE: Haakenson has been found. JBLM says he is alive and well and will be returned to his unit.

According to the 7th Infantry, local and military authorities have been called to search for missing soldier Aaron Haakenson. Haakenson, 33, is a solider assigned to the 2nd Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division stationed at JBLM.

Haakenson was last heard from around 10 p.m. Sunday night. He did not report for duty Monday morning and no one has been able to contact him in the days since.

Haakenson is described as a Caucasian man with blue eyes and light brown hair. He is roughly 5'9" tall, weighing 223 lbs.
