Pierce County authorities are investigating a fatal motorcycle crash that killed an off-duty King County Sheriff’s deputy, according to The News Tribune.
The incident took place on Monday around 5 p.m. in the 7500 block of 176th Street East in Frederickson.
Martin Duran died on Wednesday from his injuries.
The 47-year-old Army veteran and a father of two joined the King County Sheriff’s Office in 2004, the TNT said.
