Limited Transit Service Available On Thanksgiving: Pierce Transit
Pierce Transit will operate on a Sunday schedule for Thanksgiving day this week, while Friday will see normal weekday schedules resume.

PUYALLUP, WA β Pierce Transit on Tuesday announced it would still offer service on Thanksgiving, albeit on a Sunday schedule. Friday's schedule will resume normal weekday operations, transit officials said.
On Thursday, Nov. 22, Pierce Transit will close the Tacoma Dome Station Bus Shop, and no fixed-route bus phone service will be available. However, SHUTTLE paratransit phone service will be available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. by calling 253-581-8000, or 800-562-8109.
For a more detailed look at specific route availability, visit PierceTransit.org/Pierce-Transit-Routes and select the tab marked "Sunday." If no Sunday tab is present, that route will not be operational Nov. 22.

On Friday, Nov. 23, the Tacoma Dome Station Bus Shop will open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Telephone assistance for fixed-route riders will be available from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and for SHUTTLE riders from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Pierce Transit administrative offices will be closed both Thursday and Friday for the holiday.
