Puyallup Shooting: One Dead, Search For Suspect Ongoing
Police are still searching for a suspect after an early morning shooting in Puyallup Wednesday.
PUYALLUP, WA β A man has died from an apparent gunshot wound in Puyallup Wednesday morning, according to police.
The Puyallup Police Department confirms that their officers were called to the 3200 block of East Main Street just after 1 a.m. after receiving several reports of gunshots in the area. Several witnesses also reported seeing a suspect flee the scene shortly after the gunshots were heard.

Deputies say they found a man in his 40s who was dead in the front seat of a small SUV. No other victims have been reported, though police say they did find evidence to corroborate reports that multiple gunshots were fired. The victim has been sent to the Pierce County Medical Examiner's Office for identification.
Officers enlisted a K9 unit to sweep the surrounding neighborhoods, but were unable to locate a suspect.
