• WSP Trooper's vehicle hit by driver in Puyallup; non-life-threatening injuries reported (kiro7.com) — A Washington State Patrol trooper was injured Monday evening when another driver rear-ended their vehicle on SR 512 at Canyon Road in Puyallup, triggering a multi-car crash and detours during the investigation. The trooper’s injuries are described as non-life-threatening, but it’s the second similar trooper-involved crash at that same Puyallup interchange in two weeks, following another serious incident and a separate fatality in Pierce County. 
• Boys wrestling roundup: Bearcats get three champs in King County (bellinghamherald.com) — High school wrestlers from around the region hit the mats in Puyallup at the Cougar Clash, where Rainier’s Dorien Cano and Rochester’s Maddox Rodgers dominated their brackets. The roundup also highlights strong showings by W.F. West, Black Hills, Tenino, and Pe Ell at other weekend tournaments across western Washington.
