Police Seek Help Identifying 2 Suspects

Two people are suspected of using stolen credit cards to make fraudulent purchases at a Puyallup store on Nov. 4. Do you recognize them?

PUYALLUP, WA β€” Police have asked the community for help identifying two people suspected of attempting to use stolen credit cards to make fraudulent purchases at the Puyallup Walmart this past Sunday. Anyone with information about either of these two individuals is encouraged to call the Puyallup Police Department tip line at 253-770-3343. Reference case #1830800675.

Based on surveillance images of the two suspects, one is clearly a woman while the other is a bit more androgynous due to their disguise. Police officials say the second suspect may be male, based on evidence taken from the surveillance video, but at this time cannot confirm the second suspect's gender.

The attempted purchases reportedly followed a car break-in the night before.

Unable to complete the transaction, even after requesting the help of a manager, the suspects are seen leaving the store apparently frustrated, officials said. Surveillance cameras continued to track the pair as they crossed the parking lot and got into a dark-colored compact vehicle, which may have been either a truck with a canopy or an SUV, Puyallup Police Det. Mike Lusk told Patch.
