Puyallup River Rises After Weekend of Rain

Heavy rains throughout the weekend triggered a local flood watch along the Puyallup River, according to the National Weather Service.

As of 9 a.m., the Puyallup River was measured at 12.33 feet tall - it floods at 26.2 feet. The waters are anticipated to rise up to 19.42 feet by 9 p.m. tonight and reach 21.04 feet by Tuesday, according to the Advanced Hydrological Prediciton Service.
