Spring Clean Up: Puyallup Offering Extra Curbside Service Next Week

Puyallup residents are allowed to leave three extra bags of garbage and three extra containers of yard waste for curbside service on their regular garbage and yard waste pick up days.

During May 6-11, Puyallup residents are permitted to leave extra items as part of the City's Spring Clean Up program.

Utility customers are allowed to leave three extra bags of garbage and three extra containers of yard waste for curbside service on their regular garbage and yard waste pick up days.

Residents can also leave one major appliance on their curbside for recycling.

Extra Garbage:Β Regular pickup day, May 6 - May 11

Leave up to three extra bags of garbage for curbside pickup on your regular garbage pickup day, the week of May 6. The garbage must be in covered cans or garbage bags and should not weigh more than 40 pounds. Tires will not be accepted.

Recycling Major Appliances:Β Monday, May 6

Utility customers may recycle one major appliance at no charge during spring clean up week. Secure the appliance and leave it curbside no later than 7 a.m. on Monday, May 6.

The following appliances are eligible fore thisΒ program:

  • Hot Water Tank
  • Furnace Β  Β  Β  Β  Β 
  • Dryer Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β Β 
  • Trash Compactor

  • Dishwasher Β  Β  Β Β 
  • Range

Extra Yard Waste:Β Regular pickup day, May 6 - May 11

LeaveΒ up to three extra containers of yard waste at the curb on your regularly scheduled yard waste service day. Use garbage cans or bio-degradable lawn waste bags. Containers should not exceed 40 pounds and should be placed at the curb no later than 7 a.m.
