Woman Struck, Killed While Walking On River Road Tuesday Night
The driver who hit the woman reportedly remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. No cause for the collision has been given.
PUYALLUP, WA — A woman walking in the roadway along River Road Tuesday night was struck and killed by an eastbound truck, according to Puyallup police. The truck's driver reportedly stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
Neither drugs nor alcohol have been cited as factors in the fatal collision.
The collision occurred in the 1500-block of River Road, near a Toyota dealership, around 8:30 p.m. Dec. 11. The woman was reportedly dead when police arrived.
