City, Sustainable Redmond Offer Natural Gardening Workshops

Offerings include worm bin composting, gardening for wildlife.

The City of Redmond and Sustainable Redmond, a grassroots community organization, are collectively offering five natural gardening workshops this September and October.

The Sustainable Redmond presentation covers the techniques of wildlife-friendly gardening and will teach attendees the plants and growing techniques that attract beneficial wildlife. It takes place at 7 p.m. on Sept. 22 at the .

The city will host its own series of gardening workshops throughout the months of September and October. Workshop titles include Gardening with Native Plants, Sustainable Gardening, Garden Design the Natural Yard Care Way and Worm Bin Composting.
