• King, Snohomish communities get $5M for traffic safety (seattletimes.com) — Redmond is getting $300,000 in new federal funding to add traffic calming, lane reductions, midblock crossings with flashing beacons, and two roundabouts downtown and in the southeast part of the city. The grant is part of a broader $5.4 million Safe Streets and Roads for All package for six Puget Sound cities aimed at cutting serious crashes and making walking, biking, and driving safer.
