Redmond Cross Country Teams Bound for State Championships
Both the girls' and boys' teams qualified for the 4A state meet at the district championships on Saturday.

Both the girls' and boys' cross country teams at are headed to the 4A state meet after finishing first and fifth, respectively, at the district championships on Saturday.
The girls were led by freshman Megan LeGresley, who took second place in the 5k race with a time of 18:30, a personal best. All five of the team's top female finishers also qualified for the state meet as individuals.
The boys' top finisher at districts was junior Jonathan Stevens, who took ninth place.

The most recent coaches' poll from The Seattle Times puts the Redmond girls in the No. 1 spot out of all the 4A teams in the state.
The state meet takes place on Saturday, Nov. 5, at Sun Willows Golf Course in Pasco. More information on the Mustangs cross-country teams can be found on their website.
