Weekend Police Blotter: Suspicious Items Found Near Islamic Center

9:25 a.m., 2500 block of 152nd Ave. NE: A female called to report her wallet had been taken from her purse.

12:57 p.m., 16100 block of NE 87th St.: A customer at a business refused to show ID when making a credit card purchase. Investigation ongoing.
5:30 p.m., 11400 block of Avondale Road: Police arrested a 47-year-old Woodinville woman on suspicion of DUI.

6:11 p.m., 17600 block of NE 76th St.: Police investigated a report of a theft from a building.
9:26 p.m., 8100 block of 161st Ave. NE: Police investigated a report of credit card/ATM fraud.
11:24 p.m., 16500 block of Redmond Way: Police responded to a report of threats in the downtown area.
Saturday, Nov. 5
2:06 a.m., NE 61st Court and 148th Avenue NE: A 25-year-old Seattle man was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
7:39 p.m., 16500 block of NE 37th St.: Redmond Police responded to a report of a missing person. A husband got into an argument with his wife and left the house for the past two days without contact. There is no reason to believe there is concern for his danger; wife wants to ensure his safety if found.
11:21 p.m., 17300 block of NE 85th Place: Redmond Police investigated an attempted motor vehicle prowl.
Sunday, Nov. 6
6:48 a.m., 16500 block of NE 74th St.: Stolen property from a burglary that occurred in another jurisdiction was recovered. The other agency will continue with the investigation.
11:24 a.m., 7400 block of 139th Place NE: Victim's son took her vehicle without her permission.
11:44 a.m., 8500 block of 148th Ave. NE: A resident discovered her vehicle window had been smashed and items were taken from the car.
11:49 a.m., 8500 block of 148th Ave. NE: Victim reported his or her vehicle had been broken into and an I-Pod was taken.
12:53 p.m., 8500 block of 148th Ave. NE: The victim reported that his or her vehicle had been broken into sometime during the night or early morning hours.
3:27 p.m., 2200 block of 148th Ave. NE: Redmond Police responded to Sears in regards to a female shoplifter in custody. The suspect, a 26-year-old Bellevue woman, was discovered to be under the influence of methamphetamine and had drug paraphernalia on her person. The suspect also drove to Sears with a suspended license with a minor in the vehicle. The suspect was arrested of third-degree theft, possession of paraphernalia, reckless endangerment, and driving with a suspended license.
4:02 p.m., 17100 block of Redmond Way: Redmond Police investigated a reported theft at a store. The suspect was identified and charges are pending.
4:17 p.m., 7500 block of 166th Ave. NE: A man is being investigated on suspicion of theft from a local cellular phone store.
5:17 p.m., 17500 block of NE 67th Court: A 16-ounce drink container with a small amount of transmission fluid and a dirty rag were located in some bushes near an Islamic religious center. Police said the items appeared to have been there for some time, but it is unknown whether they were meant to be used as an explosive or were just trash. The items had not been ignited in any way.
5:26 p.m., 7500 block of 166th Ave. NE: Police investigated a report of a theft.
