What's Your Passion? Share It With the Community as a Patch Blogger

We're still looking for more bloggers to add their voices to Redmond Patch.

I'm regularly asked what makes Redmond Patch different from all the other local news sources out there.

In my mind, it all comes down to one word: collaboration. We want Redmond Patch to be the community's gathering place, a spot where residents and business owners go to not only read about what's going on, but share their own news and insights as well.

There are several ways for readers to contribute to Patch (including our user-friendly events calendar and announcements section), but I think one of the most exciting features of the site is our Local Voices blogging platform, where people from every corner of the community can gather to share their passions and swap ideas.

No matter what your interest is—sports, politics, outdoor pursuits, local history, arts and crafts, you name it—there's a home for you on Redmond Patch as a community blogger. The only requirement is that you either live or work in Redmond.

  • is a Redmond author who has published 15 novels of historical fiction, fantasy and science fiction. Louise writes about the local book and author scene in and around Redmond.
  • is a Redmond mom who is passionate about making a difference in the community. Her "Walking Mom Project" reached out to new local businesses and welcomed them into town. On Patch, Melissa is writing about some of Redmond's most vibrant people and places.
