Fireworks Banned in City Limits
Remember the sale and use of fireworks is prohibited within Renton city limits. The ban has been in effect since 2005. More information on the ban here.
Water Quality Report
The city’s annual Water Quality Report is out for 2020! Renton residents, read about your water source, treatment, how the city complies with strict water standards and learn easy water saving techniques. Available online. For a printed copy, call 425-430-7287 or email Lauren Imhoff.
Barrier-Free Mobility Open House
We want to create a barrier-free city that is accessible to everyone. We are in the process of updating our plan to identify, prioritize and remove barriers, specifically for those with disabilities.
These barriers can include cracked and uneven sidewalks or locations without curb ramps or crosswalks that limit access of any kind.
Visit this online open house where you can review the city’s ADA transition project and even report barriers.
If you live in the city of Renton, please take this short survey to help us deliver barrier-free mobility. It should take less than 10 minutes to complete. This feedback will be used to guide the city in future planning projects and initiatives.

Council Meeting Update
The City Council did not meet this week. Council will resume on Monday, July 6.
