1 Killed In Stabbing Outside Kerry Park, Suspect In Custody
A 27-year-old man has died after he was stabbed near Seattle's iconic Kerry Park just after midnight.
SEATTLE — One man has died after he was stabbed near Kerry Park early Friday morning. A suspect in that stabbing has been arrested.
According to Seattle Police, just after 1 a.m. Friday, officers were called to reports of a car collision in the 200 block of West Highland Drive— right outside of Kerry Park.
When officers showed up, they say they found a 27-year-old man lying in the street. He had been stabbed several times. Officers called for Seattle Fire to provide medical support, and the man was rushed to Harborview Medical Center, but died shortly after arrival.

Police investigated for hours until around 9 a.m. when they arrested a 38-year-old suspect in the 900 block of North 104th St— over six miles away from Kerry Park in north Greenwood.
Its unclear exactly how the car collision turned into a stabbing attack, or how police identified the suspect. Officers are still seeking witnesses for their follow-up investigation, and are asking anyone who may have seen the incident to call their Violent Crimes Tip Line at (206) 233-5000.
