Arcade Fire Announce Seattle Concert Date

SEATTLE, WA —Montreal-based indie band Arcade Fire on Friday released its new album and announced details about its upcoming tour, which includes a visit to Seattle.

The tour, which will support the new album "We," is scheduled to make a stop at Seattle's Climate Pledge Arena on Nov. 22. The concert, which will begin at 7:30 p.m., will feature an acoustic set by Beck.

Tickets for the Seattle show go on sale to the general public on May 13, but presales begin as early as Monday.

Arcade Fire announced that it has partnered with PLUS1, and $1 per ticket to its North American shows will go to KANPE, which brings support to the most vulnerable communities in Haiti.

The European leg of the "We" tour is scheduled to begin Aug. 30, in Dublin, Ireland, and end Oct. 1 in Warsaw, Poland. The North American leg opens on Oct. 28, in Washington D.C., and closes on Dec. 1 in Toronto. The tour will include a Nov. 25 stop at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, B.C.

The "We" album is Arcade Fire's sixth album and first since 2017's "Everything Now." The new album includes singles "The Lightning I, II" and "Unconditional I (Lookout Kid)."

The band has made some high-profile live appearances recently, including a secret set at Coachella on April 15.

Arcade Fire also is scheduled to perform on Saturday Night Live this Saturday. It will be the band's fifth appearance on the show.

The band's recent performances have been without Will Butler — brother of Arcade Fire's founder Win Butler — who announced in March that he had left the band at the end of 2021.
