This past Wednesday, dozens of people were on hand along with faculty from BASIS Independent Bothell to celebrate the school's opening. A network of private schools with locations nationwide, BASIS Independent Schools boasts a rigorous liberal arts and sciences program combined with STEM-based curriculum. The campus, located at 21540 30th Drive SE in Bothell’s Canyon Park neighborhood, provides education to students in kindergarten through 12th grade.

At the ceremony, Vice President of BASIS Independent Schools Toby Walker and Head of School Robert Runyon spoke to the exciting milestone while explaining BASIS’s advanced curriculum and defining how its education model stands out.

“This opening marks an exciting new chapter for families across Bothell and the greater Northshore and Eastside regions,” Runyon said. “Our mission is to empower students through curiosity, critical thinking, and academic challenge, giving them the tools to thrive in college and beyond.”
