The screening will be following by a live recording of "The Uncertain Artist," a companion podcast co-hosted by Joe Guppy. Join long-time Seattle actors as they discuss the realities of forging an artistic career in the Northwest.

THE UNCERTAIN DETECIVE is the creation of veteran Seattle-based indie film director Gregg Lachow (MONEY BUYS HAPPINESS) and producer (Lynn Shelton's WE GO WAY BACK, Guy Maddin's BRAND UPON THE BRAIN!).
In THE UNCERTAIN DETECTIVE, art imitates life and life imitates art. A film director (played by Lachow) creates a surreal, neo-noir tv series featuring a bumbling detective, and casts his wife and kids in it (played by Lachow's actual family). In the show, as in their lives, each character tries to solve the central mystery of life: in a world that seems to be falling apart, where is the love that binds us together?

The project is the product of many years of collaboration within the Seattle arts community, as well as the Lachow family.
