SEATTLE — Drivers with trips planned between Seattle and the Eastside should plan for another interruption this weekend, but the closure will be shorter than previous ones and only impact eastbound traffic.

Washington State Department of Transportation crews will close eastbound lanes and ramps between Mountlake Boulevard East in Seattle and 92nd Avenue Northeast in Clyde Hill starting at 11 p.m. Friday. All lanes are scheduled to reopen by 7 a.m. Sunday.

During the closure, crews will pour concrete for a new eastbound bridge over Union Bay. All westbound lanes and the SR 520 trail will remain open.
