The Emily Program Hosts Free Virtual Support Sessions for Washington Families

Sessions held twice each month

Supporting a loved one through an eating disorder can be overwhelming and isolating. Families often find themselves searching for resources and community as they navigate this journey. To provide that support, The Emily Program in Washington offers Friends and Family Sessions free, virtual meetings held twice each month.

The sessions are designed to give families a chance to learn more about eating disorders, ask questions, and connect with others who share similar experiences. Participants walk away with practical information, compassionate strategies, and reassurance that they are not alone.

“Our families often tell us they feel isolated or unsure of the best way to support their loved one,” said Kelsey Thomas, Senior Regional Director for The Emily Program in the Pacific Northwest. “These sessions give them both the knowledge and the connection they need to move forward with hope.”
