Where To Find Vaccine Appointments In Washington
As of April 15, everyone 16 and older can seek out a COVID-19 vaccine in Washington. Here are a few tools to help connect you with a shot.

WASHINGTON — Up to 6.5 million Washingtonians now qualify for coronavirus immunizations, with the only remaining requirement that patients be at least 16 years old.
The state is charting a course toward its ultimate goal of 70 percent population immunity, a benchmark that experts believe will significantly curb transmission risks. Getting there will require millions of doses and a big boost in supplies from the federal government. Until supply levels can meet the demand, securing an appointment can be a little tricky. Officials recommend Washingtonians pursue appointments through multiple avenues and grab a slot when and where they can.
Luckily, there are several tools available to aid in the search, and some providers offer waitlists and standby options. Pharmacies receive separate deliveries under a federal program and may have openings when other providers are full.

Health care systems:
- Join the waitlist for appointments through UW Medicine, or join the standby list for last-minute slots.
- UW Medicine can also provide second doses for people who are unable to return to the location of their first dose.
- Search for vaccine appointments at MultiCare hospitals and clinics.
- Request an appointment through Virginia Mason/CHI Franciscan. New appointments typically posted Friday mornings.
- Monitor availability at participating providers through Kaiser Permanente.
City and county tools:
- Sign up for appointment notifications at Seattle's four city-run sites (open to all King County residents and workers).
- Use King County's COVID-19 vaccine screener to find appointments at mass vaccination sites in Kent and Auburn (open to residents of South King County).
- Look for appointments at the Lake Sammamish State Park drive-thru clinic, supplied by the Snoqualmie Tribe (open to Eastside residents; new appointments are posted on Mondays).

For the youngest people eligible, only the Pfizer vaccine is currently authorized for 16 and 17-year-olds. The Washington State Department of Health is working to add which type of vaccine is available at each provider to the Vaccine Locator tool. Patients who are minors will also need parental consent.
