SEATTLE, WA — Washington residents are getting ready to celebrate July 4 after two years of event cancelations and modifications.

Residents in cities and counties across the country are looking forward to many of the traditional Independence Day activities that mark the summer holiday.

July 4 is just a few days away, so there’s still time to find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on near you in 2022.

Seafair Summer Fourth

• When: July 4, 3 p.m. - 11 p.m. (Fireworks @ 10:15 p.m.)

Renton's 4th of July

• Where: Gene Coulon Memorial Beach Park
• When: July 4, DJ @ 6:30 p.m./Fireworks @ 10 p.m.

Lake Sammamish Fireworks Show

• Where: Lake Sammamish State Park
• When: July 2. Fireworks @ 10 p.m.

Bellevue Family 4th

• Where: Bellevue Downtown Park
• When: July 4, 5 p.m. - 11:30 p.m. (Fireworks @ 10:05 p.m.)

Celebrate Kirkland

• Where: Downtown business district
• When: July 4, 10:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. (No fireworks this year)
