SPD Blotter: Man Injured In Tuesday Night Haller Lake Shooting

Police are investigating after a man was injured in a shooting in the Haller Lake neighborhood on Tuesday evening.

At 8:40 p.m., a man in the 13400 block of Meridian Avenue North called 911 to report he had been shot in the leg. Officers and Seattle Fire Department medics arrived at the scene and found the 38-year-old victim near Madison Pool.

The man said he had had a verbal altercation with four juvenile males before one of them shot him.

SFD medics transported the man to Harborview Medical Center for treatment.

Police processed the scene for evidence and will continue to investigate.
